[TN-Bird] Sightings Report, 4 & 6 May, Stiles Wastewater Treatment Plant, North Memphis, Shelby Cty

Location:     TN, Stiles Wastewater Treatment Plant
Observation date:     5/4/10
Notes:     Spring Migration continues. Only 4 Phalarope today, saw one 
additional female but it looks like it's dead laying on it's side in the muck 
about 100 ft out. Lots of Teal on the back side of the ponds. Blk-necked Stilts 
all spread out and beginning to nest. Solitaries and Spotted SP's spread out 
among both ponds. Good day for birding.

Eastern Kingbird     1
Northern Mockingbird     1
European Starling     32
Dickcissel     12
Red-winged Blackbird     100
Eastern Meadowlark     4

Location:     TN, Stiles Wastewater Treatment Plant
Observation date:     5/6/10
Notes:     Blk-necked Stilts heavy today and spaced out in their nesting areas, 
there was two groups of 5 each that were hagling over the rights of a piece of 
grass in the muck. Teal seem content in the water on the backside.Migration 
continues. Couple of hapless Lesser Yel-legs look like they have seen better 
days, seem to have damaged wings.
