A bit windy but rewarded well. Had a flock of shore birds flying around and couldn't tell what they were with all the bobbing and weaving. Finally I got a chance as they headed right for the van 17 Wilson's Phalarope's on the wing . They finally settled down about 200 ft away on one of the smaller cells in the back. Got some halfway decent pictures on the wing. Sadly no Black-necked Stilts anywhere. Teal & Dowitcher were in the very back behind pond five in a small wet area surrounded by tall grass. Something had the shorebirds all fussed up. 250+ least Sandpipers were able to stay still long enough to get a estimate on, there may have been more but they got up again. This was a quick lunch run so I didn't run all the pits and back levee's today.
