I'm stuck here at work all weekend, but Jeff just called and said the shorebirding is great at the Pits today. Birds are coming and going, and he is up to 19 species of shorebirds on the morning. Included in this are 31 Willets, both Dowitchers, Golden-Plovers, and the 1st sprinklings of Semi and Western Sandpipers. A couple of Peregrines are also helping to keep things interesting.
