I took a walk this morning (Oct 26, 2004) at Seven Islands Wildlife Reserve
(knox County Park) in the fog.
(exit 402- Midway Rd - off I-40, go south 3 miles, following signs to the
refuge).
Building on David Trently's list from Sunday, I saw...

WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (3)
SAVANNAH SPARROWS (a bunch)
SONG SPARROWS (a bunch)
SWAMP SPARROWS (many in certain areas)
FIELD SPARROWS (10's)
WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS (1)
EASTERN TOWHEE (heard but not seen)
CANADA GOOSE (5)
MALLARD (PAIR)
COOPER'S HAWK (kept bumping this guy off his perches)
AMERICAN CROW (SAME LARGE FLOCK)
ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER (only warbler)
E MEADOWLARK (4 in the short grassy field)

Two notable additions to this list are...
BALD EAGLE (adult peched in a tree across the river)
SKUNK (looked like a young one, he kept following me around in the fields)

other birds include...
Northern Mockingbird
Northern Cardinal
Carolina Wren
Tufted Titmouse
