4-27-07 Ellington Ag Center Davidson Co. I went over to Ellington after lunch to look for Scott Somershoe's Northern Waterthrush. It sang twice for me from the creek area beyond the gravel path behind the TWRA buildings. Then I went to the big sparrow field at the north end and heard and saw a Sedge Wren singing. It was just about in the very middle of the weedy field. This is a new addition to my Ellington list, now at 118 since I started keeping track 10-1-05 when they put in the new trails. Also had a flock of 20 Cedar Waxwings munching away within 15 feet of me, one with an orange-tipped tail.
