I birded a few of the local haunts this morning. A few birds of note:

Discovery Wetlands:
Yellow Warbler - 1 male

Lytle Creek Rd:
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher - 1 in usual territory at intersection with Wilson
Overall Rd
Bewick's Wren - 1 at Robinson Farm.
Loggerhead Shrike - at same place where they have been found for at least 5
years.
Eastern Kingbird - 4
Orchard Oriole - 1

"Flooded Fields" on Kimbro Rd were dry. Maybe the rain in the forecast for
Monday will help.

Good birding,
Scott Somershoe
