Davidson Co.
Nashville, TN
2011 May 20
7-9 am
cloudy

The clouds kept the temperature down a bit as I walked from the west
parking lot to Long Bridge and back on this Friday morning. I found
9 species of warblers, a very good number for this time of the
migration season (perhaps staying because of the cicada crop this
year), but did NOT hear or see CONNECTICUT or MOURNING
WARBLERs. Best bird of the morning was a silent YELLOW-BELLIED
FLYCATCHER at Long Bridge, which is where I typically get them
at Radnor at this time of the spring. Three SPOTTED SANDPIPERs at
the dam were an amusing sight as they bobbed up and down.
