I was hoping that yesterday's front would increase the transient activity
this morning at Radnor Lake, but it was initially even slower than
yesterday. Activity picked up slightly just before long bridge and I ended
up with 11 species of warbler, highlighted by my first two Blackpolls and my
first Acadian and Great Crested Flycatchers. Also had one each Baltimore
and Orchard Oriole. Lastly, Wild Turkey had been one of the few species
occurring at Radnor that I hadn't seen there, but I remedied that today with
a beautiful jake that was displaying constantly in a sunny treefall gap in
the woods.
