Radnor Lake State Natural Area
Davidson Co., TN
Tuesday 2011 Oct. 18

I went for a bird walk at Radnor Lake this Tuesday morning to see
if the lately arrived male HOODED WARBLER found yesterday had stayed
the night. It took a few minutes at Long Bridge before I heard
his insistent chip and another 4-5 minutes before I finally was
able to see him. Other migrants of interest included 1 PHILADELPHIA
VIREO, 3 ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAKs, and a total of 5 species of
warblers. WINTER WREN, HERMIT THRUSH, and both kinglets were
also seen.
