Radnor Lake State Natural Area Davidson Co. Nashville, TN 2007 May 22 7-9:30 am I birded Radnor Lake Tuesday morning with Jan Shaw and Lois Jones. After birding several previous years and finding disappointing turnouts, this spring continues to be an excellent one in the Nashville area for migrating warblers. This morning we heard one CONNECTICUT WARBLER singing, but it was at a very different location than the 3 yesterday. It was found at the intersection of the Spillway and Lake trails next to the dam. Other warblers included PROTHONOTARY, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, BLACK-THROATED GREEN, BLACKBURNIAN, CANADAs, and BLACKPOLL. Several SWAINSON'S THRUSHes were about as were 2 YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOOs and 2 PHILADELPHIA VIREOs. -- Frank Fekel Tennessee State University Center of Excellence in Information Systems 3500 John A.
