A pine warbler and two brown headed nuthatches were seen today in Louisville Park (Blount County). Approximately 20 ft above in the pines, nuthatches were excavating a hole. Also noted were other "fresh" holes. From Knoxville - Hwy 129 turn on to Hwy 334, turn right on to Cox Road. This is the entrance to Louisville Park. Continue to end of park - to the right of what used to be rest-rooms there's a sign "No Ground Fires". This is the area birds were observed.
