All, If anyone is interested, I've uploaded several photos from a recent whirlwind trip to MI for Kirtland's and to briefly bird the Upper Peninsula. This quick trip was undertaken by Judy Newsome, Clyde Blum, Gary Brunvoll, and myself. We put alot of miles under our belt between the 20th and 23rd of last month, but got 2 full days of birding in northern Michigan. Kirtland's was the prime target, and very cooperative, and we saw some other 'goodies' along the way, including Black-backed Woodpecker, Evening Grosbeak, Mourning Warbler, Clay-colored and LeConte's Sparrows, and Black-billed Cuckoo to name a few. We were pressed for time, so didn't spend a lot of time with photography. But, I've posted several images, including multiples of some of the interesting species, in a new gallery at: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/michigan_trip or the 1st image starts here: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/image/99262844 Good Birding to all!!
