I saw a flock of about 100 White Pelicans in east Memphis (Shelby Co.)
yesterday near the intersection of Poplar and Ridgeway at about 1:00pm. They
were circling slowly at about 300'-400', gradually moving northeast.

Granted American White Pelicans are not that uncommon in TN at certain places
at certain times of the year. But seeing a flock of at least 200 fly over
your backyard at a low altitude while your sitting on the deck and not near
a large body of water is a bit unexpected. I'll take them anyway I can get
them, AWESOME SITE!
