Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary
Williamson County
Friday, April 10, after the storm line passed, I walked down the path between
our orchard and meadow areas and heard my FOS orchard oriole, singing his heart
out. I followed him as he moved from tree top to tree top and he finally
stopped right above me where he continued to sing away. I left him there
singing.

This morning, April 12, near my Bellevue home off 70S, Davison County, a pair
of sharp-shinneds flying together. They nest in the area but this is the first
we have ever seen the two together out in the early morning air.
