I was very surprised this evening to see a male Northern Bobwhite walking
across our driveway.
The Northern Bobwhite walked into the lawn and took a quick dust bath before
disappearing into the thickets.
I didn’t see any bands on the legs. A wild bird or an escapee? Either way it
was cool to have one in the yard. A New Yard Bird.
