Hampton Creek Cove 11:45 to 3:00pm

Golden-winged Warbler
      - 3 at parking area
      - 1 just before 2nd footbridge
       -1 at new cowpond on right just before 1st Gate with a Blue- 
winged.
        -1 at 2nd gate (right side)
        -1 at 2nd gate (far left side before the trout bridge.)
        -2 at right side fence 1/4 way up field from 2nd gate
        -2 at right side fence 1/2 way up field from 2nd gate
        -2 at right side fence at 3rd gate
(all Golden-wings were singing males)

( I crossed the creek and came down the Overmountain Victory Trail  
then to more habitat on the right side heading down - if heading up,  
at near end of field on left after the trout bridge.)

         - 1 where the fields begin again on the right heading down  
the OVT.
         - 1 half way down same fence
         - 1 at start of Shell Hollow Trail
(2 of the last 3 were singing males. The other was male, just not  
singing. No females recorded.)
