Birders,

Have been seeing these links on other bird lines for several days and
thought TN-Birders might "want to know" although this is a little off-topic for
 our
state.

These first two links go to publications in India announcing a new bird
species which has been found and photographed. The first link is an article on
the new species only.

The second link goes to an article with photos of the bird AND its closest
relative, an Asian species. >>

This third link goes to a BBC article which a friend here in Nashville who
is aware of my interest in birds sent when it came in.

Both birds are incredibly beautiful. Please enjoy, and please forgive my
little "detour" off the TN-Bird trail.
