In my 10-27-05 account of the banding of my female Rufous Hummingbird by Chris Sloan, I stated that Chris "handled it with the ease of a professional." I should have stated, "with the ease of the professional that he is". Chris is one of THE best professional bird banders anywhere and I am well acquainted with those who trained him. I was so focused in on the banding of the bird that I failed to give credit to the bander. But Chris has the ability to do that. My apologies, Chris. And my thanks to Jerry Ingles for pointing this out to me.
