[TN-Bird] Mute Swan - Bell's Bend - Davidson Count (for Terry Witt)

Today Jeff Cowell and I discovered a Mute Swan while birding the Bells Bend 
area of N Davidson County.  The bird was with a flock of about 50 Canada Geese, 
and I would bet is a wild bird.  It was seen on Cleeces Ferry Road which is a 
short spur west of Old Hickory Boulevard heading toward the Cumberland River 
about 3 miles north of the river.  There are a number of large ponds or lakes 
 west of Old Hickory Boulevard and it was originally feeding in a field with 
the 
geese, and then flew into one of the ponds.  

The ponds are behind the house at 4575 Cleeces Ferry Road. 

The only other bird of significance today was a Loggerhead Shrike which was 
perched on the fence east of Tn840 beteween I-24 and US 41.
