Sept. 8-9, 2010 Ensley Bottoms, North Treatment Plant, Mississippi River Shelby Co. TN A couple of quick trips produced 2 Common Terns on the river Wednesday and an adult Caspian feeding a young bird on Thursday plus a single Pied-billed Grebe merrily, merrily floating down the stream. A large mix flock was forced down into the Giant Ragweed at Ensley by the rain. There were Indigo, Blue Grosbeaks, Dickcissel (lots) and 2 young Bobolink. The Ruddy Turnstone was still tossing clods at the North Treatment Plant on both days.
