Two pairs of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers have returned to Lytle Creek Road in
Murfreesboro. Loggerhead Shrikes continue at the end of Couch Road. Grasshopper
Sparrows can be heard anywhere along Lytle Creek and Couch. There was also a
Lark Sparrow singing in the tree opposite the hedgerow just before Couch Road.
This is presumably the same bird that was present last summer.
