I was able to get a few more photos of this sharply plumaged, adult male
Long-tailed Duck again this morning. Two more birders got scope looks as it
preened and then curled up to sleep. Hopefully, it will stay around and come
into
full winter plumage or better yet molt into spring plumage. He is a treat as
is.........

I found two groups of Western Meadowlarks in Tunica Co, MS today. A group of
6 or 7 off Arkabutla Dam Road and a big flock of at least 18 birds on
Beatline Road. The large flock of Sandhill Cranes (150) is still hanging
around
Buck Island Road. Still, only one Laughing Gull at Arkabutla Lake.

Good Birding !!!
