[TN-Bird] Leucistic Scaup 7th Year!

Ensley Bottoms,
TVA Lake, Coro Lake, 
Robco Lake

I met Q. B. Gray down at Ensley Bottoms to check out his new field glasses  
and we took some good photos of the Rough-legged Hawk. On TVA Lake,  only 
the usual complement of ducks with a pair of Redheads added to the  mix. A 
single Ross's Goose was seen hanging with the resident Canada Geese.  Along 
with the Rough-legged a total of 9 Red-tailed Hawks (3 calurus, 1  imm. 
Krider's)  2 Harriers and 3 Kestrels were seen during our short stay.  A 
scattering of Least Sandpipers were still sulking around the flats.
 
At Coro Lake, the Surf Scoter could not be found but after an extensive  
search it was located on Robco Lake along with 3 Goldeneye, the female Common  
Merganser and a Horned Grebe that have been around all week. A single,  
young White Pelican was all that was left of the 60 plus pelicans that have 
been  feeding there this past week. A couple of hundred Ring-billed Gulls and 8 
 Bonaparte's held no surprises.
 
BEST bird of the day, LUCY the Leucistic Lesser Scaup has returned for her  
7 TH SEASON!!
