[TN-Bird] Laughing Gull and Piping Plover - Memphis TN

Ensley Bottoms and
North Treatment Plant
Shelby Co. TN
 
Got through at noon today and made a run at the "Pits" because of the rain, 
 but unfortunately 2 Mississippi Kites skimming low over the flats kept  
everything in the air but the 2 Semipalmated Plovers that just hunkered. At 
TVA,  there were 5 Black-bellied Whistling Ducks and a few DC Cormorants but 
no  Neotropic. I noticed a gull swooping over the ash piles and through the 
scope  IDed a second summer Laughing Gull. Jay Walko called to report 2 BB 
Whistlers at  the North Treatment Plant, so I headed that way.
 
I located the pair of BB Bellied Ducks and shortly noticed a pale bird  
pacing the flats, BINGO a molting adult, male Piping Plover. There were  also 3 
Semipalmated Plovers, a Lesser Yellowlegs plus a few hundred  regulars 
using the area along with a multitude of all aged  young Black-necked Stilts.
 
I've added photos of these treasures plus Neotropic Cormorant and a few
