Phil and I decided to see what showed at Kykker late this afternoon and are
we glad we did! We spent about 2 hours there, just enjoying all the
sounds and some really interesting sightings:

"Late" birds were: Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Wilson's Snipe,
White-Crowned Sparrow and a gorgeous Savannah Sparrow.

Most unusual - three all dark Ibis that flew in around 6:15. I'm pretty
familiar with Glossy Ibis and my guess would be three adult Glossy Ibis.
However, they just flew over and we never were able to relocate them.

FOS Blue Grosbeak in parking lot, dozens of Indigos singing, lots of Chats,
2 White-eyed Vireos and up close looks at a singing Prairie Warbler. The
two Hooded Warblers were not as cooperative. FOS Green Heron, 7 Turkeys
gobbling on the hillside across the road. Nice.

Havent totaled the list yet, but it was as birdy as I've ever seen it.

Sometimes it pays to bird at odd hours!
