Sunday, August 17, I visited this refuge in sw Blount County, again to look for dragonflies and butterflies, but also keeping track of the bird species identified while there. It was not a good place to go for birds today - very hot and very few birds around...but really good for dragons and butterflies. In the first hour there I think I found 5 birds!
