Dawn on Big Sandy Peninsula in the weedy field below Bennett's Overlook: 4 Lincoln's Sparrows, 3 Sedge Wrens, 2 LeConte's Sparrows At Pace Point, there were no gulls, and little else around other than one female N Pintail There are hordes of cormorants on the lake and Great Egrets scattered about in multiple spots At the head of Big Sandy, the mudflats are developing, there was a distant gull roost with about 100 A White Pelicans present for company Not much at Britton Ford, plenty of habitat, another distant gull roost Flocks of migrant Canada Geese have arrived and a small armada of BW Teal seen The island off Paris Landing was loaded with gulls which included an immature Laughing Gull and an adult and also a second year Lesser Black-backed Gull Terry Witt Murfreesboro Tn =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
