David Trently will be the speaker tonight. 7 PM Room 117 UT Vet School. Knoxville, TN. David is going to be moving back to his home state of Pennsylvania later this year. He has shared his talent and love of birding with us for many years, and we are going to miss his presence as well as that of his family. Thus, we have invited David to share some memories with us at our next meeting and maybe he will also share some of his hopes and plans for the future. Over the past 15 years, David has led many local field trips for KTOS. He also started Avian Pursuits Nature Tours to help take birders to more distant places around the country, and to other nations as well. This program will feature an assortment of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, snakes, fish, mammals and scenery from some of those more recent trips. As you watch the show, imagine yourself traveling in Maine, Colorado, California, Mexico, Panama, Belize, Ecuador and more! David does not claim to be a great photographer, so don’t expect the most artistic shots! However, his pictures will be able to give you an idea of some of the things you may encounter if you join in a future trip. The meeting will be on Wednesday, May 4 at 6:45 p.m. In Room 117 of the UT Veterinary Building. And don’t forget for birding with a personal touch - David Trently Avian Pursuits Nature Tours ...come see the real world!
