I saw the Spoonbill the next day, Tuesday, Oct. 15. It was across the
river from the boat ramp and to the left. It was all alone except for
one cormorant. For a fuller report, see my column in the Outdoors page

It was pretty well hunkered down in the rain and mist and I've been
thinking all week that it is probably thinking about wintering in
sunnier climes about now.
