TN-birders, Kingston Steam Plant, in Roane County, TN., was still pretty active this afternoon with shorebirds and a few other interesting species. Thanks to Allen Trently for alerting us to the birds he found there on Thursday. These were the species of interest we found today from 1400-1630: Wood Duck - 1 Blue-winged Teal - 5 Great Egret - 4 Snowy Egret - 2 (this was the first time I have ever seen this species at Kingston in 25+ years) Little Blue Heron - 1 immature Semi-Plover - 12 Killdeer - 60+ Gr. Yellowlegs - 1 Lesser Yellowlegs - 9 Sol. SP - 1 Spotted SP - 4 Sanderling - 2 Semi SP - 3 Western SP - 3 Least SP - 110+ Pect.
