I spent about an hour today with an odd-looking duck on the Red River in Kentucky. I was in a boat, and he was paddling along enjoying the cool weather. I got some great pictures of him, but I can't find him in any of my books. I'd really appreciate some identification help; I'd be glad to email photos. Also got to see a tiny hummingbird (sorry--too far for ID) light on a branch overhanging the river. Closer inspection revealed her nest, and I got some great pictures of it, too, without disturbing it, of course. If anyone's interested, I'll send those pictures too. All this in Logan County, Kentucky. Beverly Threadgill Nashville Beverly Threadgill 1505 Corder Dr. Nashville, TN 37206 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
