On Saturday, 10th of March, my girls and I went for a nature walk on = Yanahli WMA just south east of Columbia, This land that i managed for TWRA = has many fields and woods to explore. On the edge of a cut Johnson Grass = field approx. 45 acres, i noticed a sparrow burrowing in the grass beside = us as we walked the edge of this field. With some distress calls I was = able to pull the bird out of the grass and it was a Henslow's. I will = keep my eye on this place this summer to see if this is yet another = population of Henslows that breed in Maury County.
