Swamp Rd Area
I needed a break from the computer, so I did a quick drive around the Swamp Rd
area in/near Eagleville. Highlights for me included two northern harriers
hunting together. There was a third bird found not too far away. I also
noticed a "not right" mockingbird that I backed up to look at. It turned out
to be a Loggerhead Shrike that promptly flew up to the wire to sit with a
second individual. Although I visit the area on occasion, this is the first
time I have seen the shrikes. They made me happy. :)
