This morning, Oct. 24, I flushed a bird from the brush that flew up briefly into a small tree at Radnor Lake, Nashville, Davidson County. It was very light tan on the front half of the body, and then white on the back half including the wings and tail. It was plain all over. It flushed with a female Indigo Bunting and perched briefly next to it and was comparable in size, but had a pink bill. Very strange looking. This was just before the Artist and Teacher bench on the lake trail. I also had: Winter Wren 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1 Hermit Thrush 1 Philadelphia Vireo 1 Orange-crowned Warbler 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler lots Common Yellowthroat 1 White-throated Sparrow lots Swamp Sparrow 1 Song Sparrow 1 Jan Shaw Nashville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
