The snow has helped add to my yard list! Dark-eyed Juncos showed up today at the feeder as well as the Fox Sparrow the last three days. Red-winged Black birds also joined in the feeding frenzy. While on a short walk with my daughter around the house we spotted a Golden-crowned Kinglet to the list!!! Even got to see his golden-crown! We saw another one but it was not far enough away for me to call it another individual. Tried to get a picture of it but the darn things just won't sit still!! I love how the snow brings in some extra birds to the area!
