Am forwarding this for the info of the list.? Daniel Jacobson was unable to confirm either of these species this am, but visibility was not great due to weather.? If anyone else has any additional info on these, please forward to the list. David C. Greetings; ? This evening at about 6:30 p.m., as Gwen and I were scanning the lake above Chickamauga Dam, a Yellow-billed Loon landed in the water about 30 yards or so out from the parking lot. Saw it for only a few minutes before a heavy shower got in the way. ? Also saw six Lesser Black-backed Gulls(?).? There appeared to be two adults, three second year and one first year birds.? They were fairly far out and again the rain did not help but they were appeared to me to be Lessers. ? Dennis C.
