Hi folks,
It seems the migrants more or less finished coming through Tremont
(Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Blount County, TN) last week,
after a wonderful 2 weeks of grosbeaks, tanagers, thrushes and
catbirds for all to see.
This morning I saw my first low-elevation Dark-eyed Junco of the
year, right by the Councilhouse (a wooden campfire circle) at
Tremont.
This is a bit later than the 6-year average. Golden-crowned Kinglets
showed up much earlier than their average.
