J Percy Priest Lake, Field Trials Area
Rutherford Co
Arrived at the Field Trials Area just before a beautiful red cloudy
sunrise. Spent the morning being serenaded by Common Loons and bugling
Sandhill Cranes(60). Ended up with 53 species including, 150 Green-winged
Teal, 50 N. Shovelors, Gadwall, Bufflehead, Mallards, Hooded Mergansers,
Am. Wigeon. Also had 2 Great Blue Herons doing a territorial display. I
also had Purple Finch and Pine Sinkin.
