April 9 Montgomery Co. Sitting on our deck this evening, we were teated to a brief, but always welcome, glimpse of our FOY prothonotary warbler. Along with 2 northern parulas and a maddeningly close yellow-throated warbler (heard, but never seen), a cardinal sitting on a nest with 2 eggs and two ruby-crowned kinglets boumcing through the trees, it was a most enjoyable way to end the day.
