I heard an Eurasian Collared Dove calling, as I was getting in my car at Jackson St and Hogan St in Tullahoma, Tn, today--Wednesday, 2Apr08, about 4:20PM--spent the next 20 or 30 minutes, tracking them down along the alley between Hogan and Grundy streets--got the scope up twice just as they flew away, but finally locked in on them sitting on a power line near Grundy--tried to follow them down Grundy, west, but only ended up with a line full of Rock Pigeons, and a few scattered Mourning Doves (good study of the two doves' calls near each other) I have mixed feelings about their setting up shop in downtown Tullahoma, but it was a refreshing interlude from my shopping duties.
