Greetings Tennessee birders!
After many years of hard work service, Steve Stedman has retired as
the eBird regional editor for the Upper Cumberland region. Steve was
the original regional editor for the entire state of Tennessee before
he was finally able to focus his efforts on the Upper Cumberland when
Susan Hoyle and I came on board. Many thanks to Steve for his
countless hours of work for the eBird project from its pioneering days!
Scott Somershoe has joined the Tennessee eBird team as a regional
editor. Most of you know Scott well from his time here in Tennessee.
He has become an eBird regional editor is his new home state of
Colorado and is interested in being involved here as well. He and I
will initially be covering the Upper Cumberland region together.
After we get the transition done, stay tuned for more potential news
about Tennessee eBird!
