[TN-Bird] Re: Dickcissel

That's a very cooperative Dickcissel! He was right where Tom described
him this afternoon around 2 p.m. He sat on the wire singing for a
while, then he would fly about 40 yards south, then come back after a
little while. I believe there are actually 3 in the field. I heard a
second singer which I couldn't locate, and I also saw (closer to the
corner of Gravelly Hills and Chota Hill) the male singer doing what
appeared to be a courtship chase with another bird, but I didn't get a
good look at it to verify that it was a female. It wasn't anywhere
near the area of the second singer.
