Was able to get in a few hours yesterday at Cross Creeks and was hoping to find some shorebird activity like others are reporting across the state. I never have had much luck with shorebirds there for whatever reason but managed to find some at the very last location I tried. Notables below: Least Sandpipers 5 Semipalmated Sandpipers 8 Spotted Sandpiper 1 ? Possibly a Pectoral Sandpiper ? Killdeer 6 Others: DC Cormorant 2 Great Egrets 10 Osprey 1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak 1 Plenty Wood Ducks, Mallards, Canada Geese. Stanley York Jr Palmyra/Montgomery Co.
