Feb. 10, 2010 Crittenden Co. AR At 10 AM today, the immature Tundra Swan was seen in the exact location near the duck blind off of I-40, where it has been for over a week. While it sleeps with the head down it looks like a pile of snow out in the frozen field. I watched it feed for a while in an open hole in the ice. All the ducks are using a single hole in the field to the west where they are packed in like sardines, coverts to coverts, tail to bill. Good Birding !!! Jeff R.
