The Knoxville Chapter of TOS sponsored a field trip to Cove Lake State Park
and Cross Mountain on 15 May 2011.Nine people attended this walk, although
not all at the same time due to faulty directions for the meeting place.

We had a total of 58 species at Cove Lake SP and 12 on Cross Mountain.
Allowing for duplicates, we had a grand total of 68 species. Note that the
Number for Cliff Swallows is probably low. They were swarming over the lake
and taking nesting material back to the highway bridge.
