[TN-Bird] Couchville Cedar Glade SNA outing

Davidson/Wilson County, Tennessee
 
This was my first visit to this SNA.  My wife and I went mainly to see  the 
Tennessee coneflowers after reading about it on the Nashville Scene's  
website last week.  The coneflowers were numerous along the trail, along  with 
some other summer wildflowers, and the birding was pretty good, too.
 
The highlight of the birding was seeing a Prairie Warbler fledgling in a  
low tree branch just a few feet off the trail.  The parents were nearby,  but 
were agitated by our presence, so we got some quick looks and moved  on.  
We were able to get a photograph of the fledgling and I've posted  it here if 
anyone is interested:

In addition to numerous Prairie Warbler, we saw or heard Field Sparrow,  
Indigo Bunting, White-eyed Vireo, Northern Bobwhite, Northern Mockingbird,  
Northern Cardinal, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Eastern Towhee, American Goldfinch,  
Chimney Swift, Barn Swallow, Carolina Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, American 
Crow,  Black Vulture, Turkey Vulture, and Brown-headed Cowbird.
