Sunday Dec. 24 from 11:05 a.m. to 1 p.m. I birded the Cove at Concord Park
in west Knox County, Tenn. Highlights were 7 HORNED GREBES and 2
BROWN-HEADED NUTHATCHES. It's common to see 2 Horned Grebes there and I've
seen 3 (last year), but 7 is a high for me. At first I was just seeing one
but new ones kept appearing and I ended up with one group of 5 and another
of 2 farther to the east.
