[tn-bird] Common nighthawks in East Tennessee

I have also observed nighthawks moving through the area lately.  Last week,
while driving home from work, I noticed a flock of about 30 birds flying
across pastures near Halls, TN.  This was around 6:30 in the evening.  The
nighthawks were all heading southwest at about treetop level.
