The following question comes from Brenda McMahan, Knox Co. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Brenda McMahan <tnsmokymts@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, Apr 4, 2009 at 11:02 PM Subject: Common Loon Have you had any reports about a Common Loon in the Concord Park area of Knox County? Denny and I were there late this afternoon into early evening (4-4-09) and heard a Loon around 8:00 PM. We saw what we think was a Common Loon, but the distance was too great to make positive identification and we did not have our scope. It called several times and then moved completely out of sight around a point. It called several more times, but the calls grew fainter. Thanks for your help.
