This afternoon a coyote was hunting in a field past the Dan Lawson Place in Cades Cove when three female Northern harriers started harassing it by diving at it and then landing about 20 feet or so in front of it. This went on for about 5 minutes until the coyote went out of sight. The coyote would lunge at the diving bird and rush the one on the ground.
